This is an excellent hand-woven flat weave medium to large rug by master weaver Reynaldo Contreras using 100% soft fine hand spun Angora Wool in an outstanding 1920s style Navajo Nino Eye Dazzler pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% handspun Angora Wool blend yarn, a luxury fiber that is incredibly soft, subtle, and durable. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bold colors in the fine Navajo Nino pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Reynaldo Contreras. This bold and beautiful rug shows a fantastic Navajo Trading Post Eye Dazzler Pattern styling showing a bold heathered red (Ganado Red) background color with linear banded pattern in black, cream and tan / light brown with stepped diamonds and crosses along with dientes stepped diamond figures at the corners. The piece is brand new in pristine condition with a fine tight weave and incredibly soft Angora wool, this will without a doubt be the softest rug you own. The rug measures 3’ by 6’ (3 foot by 6 foot). This is a contemporary rug hand woven by Reynaldo Contreras, a Zapotec Indian from a small weaving village, in amazing Swiss colorfast aniline dyes and extremely high quality Angora wool showing an unbelievable craftsmanship.
