For your consideration is a Fred Harvey Era Navajo Native American turquoise and silver ring from the 1920's. This fantastically detailed silver ring shows a nicely worn patina. Fred Harvey jewelry was made for the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Harvey hired Navajo silversmith to create decorative symbolized jewelry for the tourist trade. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear, and generally with a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. This ring features a silhouette of a Bison skull with inlaid turquoise eyes. The ring shows a wonderful detail including roped silver and engraved arrow heads. This ring measures a US size 11 1/4.
