Featured in this lot is this Navajo Gallup Trading Post hand woven rug circa 1940's. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool and natural dye construction that shows a segmented design to the rug with medallions of geometric patterns woven into those segments and includes bands separating those segments. The coloration of this rug includes off white, black, light brown, grey and darker brown. The condition of this Navajo rug is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this rug is 38 1/2" x 19 3/8". The thread count of this rug is 150 threads per square inch.
