Featured in this lot is this Navajo Gallup Trading Post hand woven rug circa 1960's. This hand woven rug is wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction. The rug features stepped design with large crystal decorations with coloration of gold , off white, and red set to segments of heathered grey and gold fields. The ends of the rug shows border bands of red, and red and grey with one of the ends shows the iconic Gallup fringe colored white, and shows two corner tassels on the other end. The condition of this Gallup rug is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this rug are 40" x 20". The thread count is 120 threads per square inch.
