Featured in this lot is this spiny oyster necklace and earrings from Navajo artist Harold Smith circa 1960's. There is a necklace and a pair of earrings in this collection. The necklace shows a graduated arrangement of red spiny oyster discoidal gemstones that are ended with sterling silver beads and sterling silver aglets that are marked 'sterling'. The earrings feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and inlaid spiny oyster cabochon and is marked 'H. Smith' and 'sterling'. The condition of this necklace and pair of earrings is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 25 1/4" and the earrings measure 2 1/8" x 1/2" x 1/2". The collective weight of the necklace and the earrings is 221.7g.
