Featured in this lot we have a pair of signed Navajo Native American hand crafted polychrome pottery jars. The jars display geometric designs etched into the exterior showing wonderful traditional Navajo designs. The first of the jars shows a hand formed red clay design with carved polychrome patterns showing colors of red, white, and blue. It is signed across the bottom reading "Teste Odine" with a design of a mountain. The second jar displays hand formed warm brown design with numerous inclusions of light tan and black grains mixed through out. The piece shows off white almost tan geometric designs across the exterior. This jar features a heat glazed coating across the piece. It is signed across the bottom reading "RHMGYA SP" with the rest of the letters faded. The pair shows good condition overall with little to no wear. The first jar measures 5 1/4" tall with a circumference of 22" with the second jar measuring 4 1/2" tall with a circumference of 12 1/4".
