In this lot are two Navajo Native American necklaces. The first starts with hook and eye closure and silver cones. The necklace is a double strand of small heishi shell disks on nylon thread. The necklace has nineteen animal fetishes, thirteen of which are birds and six are bears. The fetishes are made of an assortment of stones, including turquoise, mother of pearl, melon shell, pipe stone, and others. This necklace is strung very tight. The second necklace is made of graduated size jet disks with eleven turquoise disks in the center. The necklace has two silver beads at each end that has a hook and eye closure and is strung on nylon thread. This necklace has approximately 1 1/2" of gap in its stringing.
