Included in this lot is a Navajo Native American, Herbert Tsosie lariat, orange spiny oyster and sterling silver necklace. The necklace features a lariat pendant design with tear drop cabochons of spiny oyster. The pendants are strung on a cable chain with a lobster claw clasp. These five lariats feature a polished cabochon in a shadow box setting. On the back of the main pendant is the artist Herbert Tsosie’s hallmark, along with a “sterling” stamp. The necklace measures approximately 25 ¼” when unclasped.
