Featured in this lot is this Navajo, Herman Hoskie alpaca silver, sterling silver setting, brass overlay, and turquoise mountain buckle. The buckle shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted buckle with a brass stamped border and brass clam shell style design shown underneath five rough cut turquoise mountain cabochons inlaid in sterling silver settings. The artist’s hallmark is on the back side of the buckle with a 'Navajo' stamp underneath. The condition of this buckle is good, showing no obvious signs of damage and patina consistent with the age of the buckle. The measurements of this buckle are 2 7/8" x 3 1/2" x 3/4".
