For your consideration is this excellent Navajo Native American Indian hand woven Klagetoh pattern rug dating to the 1920’s. The Klagetoh pattern, like the Ganado pattern was fathered by Lorenzo Hubbell and is located just south of Ganado, AZ. This example, which dated to circa 1920’s shows a nice tight hand knotted finely spun churro wool in bright aniline natural dyes. The rug shows a very unique and rare unbanded Klagetoh pattern with rich colors of red, browns, tans / creams, and greys with hourglass, storm and geometric symbols. Overall, the rug shows a nice large size and good overall condition with slight fraying at the edges as shown. Measures 70" x 59 1/2."
