For your consideration is this Navajo Sterling Silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise Cuff Bracelet made by Navajo Diné silversmith Melvin Chee. The bracelet features a sterling construction and shows seven oval cut petit point cabochons of Sleeping Beauty turquoise set in shadow box style setting, surrounded by silver beads and a braided silver rope border. The cuff bracelet displays a split shank construction with braided silver rope being the middle strand. The shanks feature a stamped traditional Navajo moon motif. Hallmark is stamped on the reverse, "M. Chee" and "Sterling". Melvin Chee is a Navajo silversmith known for his handcrafted sterling silver jewelry, often featuring traditional Southwestern stones like turquoise and red coral. His work frequently employs cluster formations, where multiple small stones are set together in intricate patterns. He also utilizes hand-stamping, twisted wire accents, and silver bead (raindrop) detailing. The piece shows good condition overall with no wear or damage present. It measures 6.5" inside circumference including 1.25" opening, 1.25"W x 2.5"L x 1.75"D, collective weight is 23.2 grams.
