The lot features a finely Navajo crafted inlaid sterling silver ring set with Morenci Turquoise from the Sundog collection. The ring has the original Sundog collection tag marked "BV0734 $350.00". The ring has a wide sterling silver band with raised sterling silver top setting being inlaid with rectangle polished cabochons of Turquoise from the Morenci mine. Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and acquired by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman which was both part museum and gallery. The ring is a size of 7 US. Measures approx. 1"W by 1"H by by 1/2"D. Total weight of 12.7 grams.
