Featured in this lot is this handmade sterling silver and Kingman turquoise necklace from Navajo artist Betta Lee. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally handmade sterling silver hollow beaded chain, a lovely scalloped border to the two part pendant, a twisted rope design around the center stone, and the highly collectable Morgan Silver dollar set in to the bottom portion of the necklace. The center stone features a large oval cut Kingman turquoise cabochon with a light blue to bright blue luster to the coloration and a cloud-like darkness to the born veins shown in the stone. The artist’s hallmark can be seen on the backside of the pendant with a 'sterling' stamp above the hallmark. The condition of this necklace is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurement of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 24" and the pendant measures 4 1/2" x 2" x 1/2". The overall weight of this necklace is 79g.
