For your bidding pleasure is a Navajo Native American Indian sterling silver and mother of pearl belt buckle. This hallmarked sterling silver buckle is stamped "IHMSS" confirming the silver's purity. The belt buckle contains 48 individual mother of pearl gemstones. This piece is in wonderful shape. The buckle shows heavy sterling silver construction, done masterfully with a stained glass inlaid mosaic pattern. The mother of pearl pieces all have a rounded polished cabochon finish complimenting the mother of pearls iridescent reflection. It reflects its age but shows little to no tarnish. The buckle measures 3" x 2.5".
