Featured in this lot we have a Navajo Native American rug made by Crowpoint rug weavers. The rug shows a set of three figures, each holding a feathered staff. The rug shows its original tag reading "Crowpoint Rug Weavers Association - Box 1630 - Crowpoint, New Mexico, 87313 - No. 8090 - Weaver Bessie Tom". The Yei Navajo rugs begin in the Northwest corner of the reservation, in the early part of the 20 century. This rug is believed to be made of wool. It is in good condition for its age. The piece measures 29" long by 28 1/2" tall.
