Included in this lot we have a Navajo Native American Sterling silver and turquoise petite point old pawn bracelet. The term Old Pawn refers to the jewelry pieces that the old Navajo would trade for credit at trading outposts. Native American Navajo had different needs than their white counterparts out in the wilds of the Old West, and traders would credit currency and trading goods for these pieces of jewelry. The piece shows sterling silver band construction with 14 pieces of turquoise. The sleeping beauty turquoise are cut in petite point and set along the center of the cuff. Above and below each turquoise stone is a silver droplet. The bracelet shows good condition overall with a warm patina across the piece. It measures 5 3/4" inside with a 1" gap and 3/8" wide. The total weight of this item is 18.2 grams.
