Featured in this lot is this Navajo Old Pawn sterling silver King's Manassa Turquoise pendant circa 1940's. The pendant features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that features a ribbon design to the face of the pendant with a twisted rope border to the center stone and features a dangle adornment at the bottom of the pendant. The center stone is a large rare King's Manassa Turquoise cabochon that shows hefty mineral deposits that creates a unique matrix to the stone. The back of the pendant is etched 'EJ'. The condition of this pendant is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. King's Manassa Turquoise was first referred to as King Turquoise Mine in Manassa, Colorado and was an area actively mined by Native American's for centuries until circa 1890 when I.P. King rediscovered the mine, later being called the Lick Skillet Mine. The measurements of this pendant are 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" x 3/8". The collective weight of this pendant is 24.1g.
