The piece shows a tufa sand cast squash Naja pendant with traditional two hand ends that are sterling silver and set with three gem quality, polished cabochons of Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise. The Naja is paired with twelve blossom petals on a double row of handmade sterling silver concho pearl beads, culminating in a single concho pearl top. The piece is in the styling of early Old Pawn Silver pieces and has the fine craftsmanship of a modern contemporary piece by silversmith Gerald Mitchell. The piece has a wonderful antique finish and is strung on sterling silver chain link strands, a fine finish. The set is signed/ hallmarked on the squash pendant "GM" and "Sterling". The necklace measures overall 23 inches long from end to end (otherwise referred to as circumference), with the Naja squash pendant being 2 1/8 inches by 2 1/4 inches.
