Featured in this lot is this sterling silver and cripple creek turquoise buckle from Navajo artist Pat Chee circa 1970's. The buckle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction with a beautifully tooled face with geometric patterns and a scalloped semi shadowbox design around the center stone. The center stone is a cripple creek turquoise cabochon with light to bright blue coloration and a lovely luster with spiderwebbing mineral deposits shown throughout. The buckle is stamped with Pat Chee hallmark of 'P. Chee.' Pat Chee is a well known Navajo artist across all platforms. The condition of this buckle is fair with the swivel belt clasp showing a missing pin in the the mechanism but otherwise in fair overall condition. The measurements of this buckle are 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 1". The collective weight of this buckle is 65.2g.
