Featured in this lot is this sterling and multi-stone necklace and earring set done by Navajo silversmith Navajo silversmith R. Sam. The necklace is a beautifully and skillfully produced Sterling Silver and Fox turquoise construction with three oval Fox turquoise cabochons in independent stamped settings, one heart-shaped spiny oyster stone, and one heart-shaped carnelian stone. The necklace has the hallmark 'R. Sam' and a 'STERLING' stamp on the reverse. The Sterling Silver Fox Turquoise earrings include one solitary cabochon in stamped settings, the hallmark is 'R. Sam', and the reverse bears a 'STERLING' stamp. The Navajo necklace and earrings are in good condition, with no signs of damage or wear present. The necklace measures 20 1/2" L from clasp to clasp and 13 3/4" L from clasp to pendant end. The earrings measure 1 1/8" L x 15/16" W. The collective weight of the necklace and earrings is 48.9 grams.
