For your consideration is an Original Signed Navajo Randall Endito Sterling Silver Spirit Bear Pendant. Randall Endito (1980-2020) was a Navajo silversmith who lived and worked in New Mexico. Randall's artistry has clean lines with detailed stamp and scroll work that gave him a unique style which continues to delight his collectors in the Southwest. The pendant is hallmark stamped, "E" and "Sterling". Etched arrows, sunrays. The arrow that proceeds from behind the bear jaw is called the lifeline or heart line. The heartline begins at the mouth where breath gives life and points to the soul, or spirit, where faith and inner strength preside. The following symbol depicts the heartline through the image of a bear. The heartline is an arrow going from its head to the heart and shows the Indian warrior's heart is strong like the bears. This stunning spirit bear pendant is in nice condition with a rich patina throughout. Measures 1 5/8"W x 2 1/8"L, weight 13 grams.
