For your consideration is this Navajo Native American small Moki Pattern rug. Moki weavings originated with Spanish weavers and were adopted by Navajo weavers in the early 1700's. Moki weavings utilize a narrow striped styling that usually alternates between dark blue and black and often feature red diamond shapes. This tightly woven rug features stripes in dark blue, red, black and white. Stepped diamonds in red run through the center of the rug, and at each corner is a brown tassel. This small rug offers a wonderful 20th Century take on the most historic of Navajo weavings. The measurements of this rug are 22 1/2" x 23 1/2".
