Featured in this lot is this fire opal and sterling silver ring from Navajo artist Silver Ray. The ring features a polished and tested sterling silver ring construction and reads the hallmark as 'S. Ray' and shows a 'sterling' stamp above the hallmark. The center stone is a round brilliant glass stone with measurements of 4.05 x 4.03 x 2.45mm and a approximate weight of 0.25cts and was measured in setting. The 'V' shape potion of the ring is decorated with a total of eight fire opal cabochon with great luster and beautiful coloration. The opposite side of the ring is decorated with gold washed decoration and with the twisted rope border of the center stone as well. The condition of this ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this ring are 1" x 7/8" x 5/8" and the ring size is US 9. The collective weight of this ring is 5.1g.
