The lot features an impressive classic Navajo bolo tie set with large Sierra Bella Turquoise from Navajo artist Russell Sam. The bolo is signed, "R. Sam Sterling" and shows a classic Navajo pattern of bolo with chissled cut edge, rope silver border and large polished turquoise stone at the center. The stone is from the Sierra Bella mine (sister site of the Sonoran Gold) and shows a stunning color variation. The piece is on braided black leather with sterling silver tips. The bolo necklace measures 20.5"L from the back of the neck to the end of the tips. The bolo area is 2 1/8" by 1.5". Total weight of 43.2 grams.
