Featured in this lot is this sterling silver wolverine claw, turquoise and red branch coral ring from Navajo artist Mary Morgan and circa 1960's. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that features sweeping scalloped shoulders and shows a inlaid wolverine claw and shows a Kingman nugget turquoise cabochon set next to the claw and a round cut red branch coral cabochon set into the base of the claw inlay. The artist hallmark can be seen on the underside of the ring. At 90-pus years Old Master Navajo Silversmith Mary Morgan is one of the oldest Navajo Artists, and a celebrity among Navajo Silversmiths. Born in 1923, Mary has been Silversmithing for over 60 years and is a master at her craft. The condition of this ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The overall measurements of this ring are 1 1/4" x 1" x 1 1/8" and shows a ring size of US 11 1/4. The collective weight of this ring is 27.7g.
