The lot features a beautiful sterling silver squash blossom necklace by Ken Martinez, a Navajo Native American Indian silversmith. The piece shows a traditional design with with stone set naja squash pendant, double strand of concho pearl sterling silver beads and stone set collection of eight blossoms. The necklace is set with deep red branch coral and bright Blue Gem Mine turquoise. The piece is nicely stamped on the rear of the squash pendant K. Mtz STERLING. The piece shows a vintage age and is in very good condition with a nice patina on the silver and solid stones with rich coloring. The piece measures 26 inches inside circumference along the strand.
