This lot includes a signed Navajo Native American sterling silver birdman effigy brooch. The pendant shows the image of a Navajo birdman figure with tooled patterns and designs across the front of the piece. The brooch is signed on the back reading "A M Sterling" indicating that it was made by Navajo artist Alfred Martinez. The piece features a pin to use it as a brooch as well as a loop to use it as a pendant. The brooch is in good condition with some spots of warm patina. The piece measures 1 3/4" tall by 1" wide.
