Featured in this lot is this Navajo sterling silver turquoise jewelry circa 20th century. The collection shows five single earrings, two pendants, one pair of earrings, and one necklace. The first earring is a cartilage clip earring constructed from sterling silver and 12k GF for the dangle piece with a round Morenci turquoise cabochon set into the earring and is marked as follows: sterling - 12k GF. The next single earring is a studded loop earring constructed from sterling silver and shows a total of seven oval cut turquoise cabochon set into it and is marked as follows: Sarse - .925. The next earring is Navajo stud earring constructed from sterling silver and shows a oval cut cripple creek turquoise cabochon set into the face. The next single earring is a humming bird design constructed from sterling silver with inlay turquoise cabochon set into the face of the dangle earrings. The next single earring is a round stud earring with that shows sterling silver construction with a inlay brass whirl. The first full pair of earrings shows a sterling silver man playing with hoops. The first pendant is a sterling silver tear drop shaped concho with a shadow box design and a inlay oval cut turquoise cabochon and is marked with a bear claw hallmark with 'VAL' in the center. The next pendant shows a labradorite bear with two malachite spherical beads and a dangle feather. The last piece of jewelry is a necklace with a turquoise and red branch coral cabochon set into the pendant with a sterling silver construction. The condition of this collection of Navajo jewelry is preserved with five of the earrings missing their pair, and some of the silver shows patina consistent with some age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this collection ranges from 5/8" x 3/8" and the chain length is 18 1/8" to 3/8" x 1/2". The collective weight of this collection is 25.4g.
