Featured in this lot is a Navajo style Yei Be Chei / Yei / Yeibichai custom woven runner. The runner features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool blend construction. The runner features a unique design that blends a traditional Navajo Yei Be Chei and a Klagetoh design that melds the two iconic styles of woven history. The runner features four Yei figural's through the rug with intricate geometric patterns surrounding the Yei figures. The coloration of this rug shows a border of black, off white, and maroon with a grey field and the Yei figural and Klagetoh design is decorated with black, blue, maroon, off white, and light brown. The condition of this Navajo stylized running is good to fair with some of the weave worn and needing a cleaning but is a nice usable rug that is attractive. The measurements of this rug are 141"L x 37 3/4"W. The rug is made in the manner and style of the Navajo traditional but custom ordered from a non-Navajo maker. The thread count is 72 threads per square inch.*
