The necklace features two barrel beads constructed from sterling silver and gold that are bother marked as follows: T & R Singer. Tommy and Rose Singer were a prominent couple in the world of Navajo jewelry, known for their significant contributions to Native American silverwork. Tommy Singer (1940–2014) was a master silversmith and one of the most famous Navajo jewelry artists. He is widely credited with pioneering the use of chip inlay, a technique where crushed turquoise or coral is inlaid into silver or gold settings, creating a striking mosaic effect.
