For your consideration is a Navajo Native American Tommy Singer Kingman turquoise and sterling silver turtle effigy collar necklace. Tommy Singer was a World Famous Navajo silversmith and his distinct style of Indian jewelry is recognized the world over. Tommy was a silversmith for over 50 years. He learned the art of silversmithing from his father when he was just seven years old. Singer is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith Indian artist and his work is highly sought after. This large collar sterling silver necklace features a hand stamped southwestern design across the face incorporating an applied sterling turtle. On either side of the turtle is polished cabochon of Kingman turquoise. The collar is strung on a braided rope similar in style to a bolo tie. The necklace has sterling silver aglet tips and a hook clasp. The necklace features a high polished finish on the front and back of the collar. The back of the collar is stamped with the maker Tommy Singer’s hallmark and “Sterling”.
