Featured in this lot is a sterling silver and turquoise necklace from Navajo artist, Tommy Singer, born in 1940 and died in 2014. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction with Navajo pearls and very unique barrel beads with triangular shape and rectangular shape that show tooled, stamped, and textured decoration with inlaid Morenci turquoise cabochon that are oval cut with onyx and bone beads showing a cube design. The necklace is ended in sterling silver aglets and is marked with a tag: Tommy Singer - Sterling. Tommy Singer was a highly influential Navajo (Diné) silversmith and jeweler, renowned for his innovative techniques and distinctive style in Native American jewelry. His work is celebrated for its artistic merit and cultural significance, making him one of the most respected figures in the world of Native American art. His jewelry remains highly collectible, with many pieces considered valuable both for their craftsmanship and their connection to his legacy. Tommy Singer passed away in 2014, but his legacy lives on through his work and the ongoing production of jewelry in his style. The condition of this Navajo necklace is good with some slight patina adorning the silver but otherwise shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 25 1/8" and shows a width of 1 1/8". The collective weight of this necklace is 102.2g.*
