Featured in this lot is this sterling silver and turquoise thunderbird necklace from Navajo artist Thomas Yazzie. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that is featured in the likeness of a Thunderbird with tooling in decoration to the feathers of the Thunderbird and shows a single nugget cut cripple creek turquoise cabochon set into the center of the pendant with beautiful blue luster and mineral deposits throughout the stone. The pendant is marked 'T. Yazzie' with a feather underneath for Thomas Yazzie and is marked 'sterling' underneath that. The condition of this necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp is 20 1/4" and the pendant measurements are 2 3/8" x 2 1/8" x 1/4". The collective weight of this necklace is 17.4g.
