Offered in this lot is a collection of Navajo and Taxco Mexican handmade sterling silver jewelry. First is a herring bone bracelet with jaguar heads at the claw clasp. The bracelet is marked ‘Milor Made in Italy’ and marked ‘925’. Open, the bracelet measures 8 1/2". Next is a pair of screw-back earrings in the shape of Orchid flowers. The flowers are highly detailed and marked sterling on the back of the screws. The earrings measure 7/8" X 3/4". Next is a silver cross with cactus buttons on the four points. Crosses with cactus buttons hang from three places with a turquoise stone surrounded by cactus buttons in the center (one is missing). On the back is stamped ‘Mexico Taco 925’ and the artist’s mark. The cross measures 1 3/4" X 1". The last item is a stylized pin of the sun setting over water. This pins simple design makes it quite stunning; it is marked ‘925’ on the back. The pin measures 2 1/4" x 3". All of these items are in good condition, other than the damage noted on the cross. These items have a combined weight of 43.1 grams.
