Featured in this lot is this sterling silver opal inlay bracelet from Navajo artist Thomas Francisco circa 1980's. The bracelet features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and opal construction that shows a stained glass pattern to the inlay and a heavy sterling silver frame. The bracelet is marked on the underside as follows: Thomas Francisco - Sterling. Thomas Francisco is a Navajo (Diné) artist known for his work in traditional and contemporary Navajo jewelry. His craftsmanship and artistry have made him a respected figure within the Native American art community. Francisco’s work often reflects his deep connection to his Navajo heritage while also incorporating modern design elements, making his pieces unique and highly valued. The condition of this Navajo bracelet is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this bracelet is 2" x 2 5/8" x 1/2" and the circumference including the gap is 6 1/2" and the length of the internal bracelet is 5 1/4". The collective weight of this bracelet is 28.4g.
