This is a fabulous eight-strand multi-stone White Buffalo Turquoise necklace with large sterling and 14K gold barrel beads from master silversmiths Navajo Tommy & Rose Singer. Tommy Singer was a renowned Navajo Silversmith. He grew up on the Navajo Reservation and was taught silversmithing by his father, beginning at the age of seven. Singer is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith Indian artist and his work is highly sought after. Singer passed away on May 31, 2014. After his death, his wife, Rose, continued to create jewelry using designs Singer created prior to his passing. The necklace shows two large barrel beads marked T & R Singer Sterling and shows eight strand necklace set with rare Whtie Buffalo Turquoise in round and almost hair pipe barrel beads along with turquoise, coral, denim lapis lazuli, tiger eye, malachite, amethyst, and more. The necklace has marked sterling aglet tips and the overlaid beads read “T&R Singer Sterling”. The necklace measures 30.5” long clasp end to clasp end. Total weight of 197.5 grams.
