His inlaid turquoise, coral, and silver pieces incorporated traditional Navajo designs. Singer gained acclaim as the originator of the chip inlay design which he developed in the 1970s. Singer was a member of the Navajo Nation from Winslow, Arizona. He perfected his craft working on the Navajo reservation in a small studio surrounded with his family and other tribal members. This sterling silver Kachina dancer shows immense detail and wonderful silversmith work. This large piece adorns a thick braided leather tie that is tip with sterling aglet tips. The aglet tips have a charm done in a traditional design in sterling silver. The braided leather tie also has two sterling silver and yellow gold accent pieces above the aglets. The tie measures 23.5" and the bolo measures 6.5" x 1.75". The necklace, which shows an incredible sterling silver construction is signed "T. SINGER STERLING".
