This lot features an excellent tufa cast Golden Hills turquoise and sterling silver bracelet from amazing Navajo Native American Indian silversmith artist, June Delgarito. The bracelet has a heavy sterling silver construction and is stamped on the interior , “Sterling - June Delgarito”. The bracelet is made using the very unique Tufa casting method, a method used by some of the first Navajo silver makers in the 1870’s. Tufa Casting Sterling Silver, much like Old Pawn jewelry and is widely collectible due to its heavy construction. This bracelet shows Tufa casting with gorgeous hand stamped applied accents. Expertly set in the middle of the bracelet in a shadow box is a stunning Golden Hills turquoise gemstone. The stone is accented by a silver braided rope border. The interior of the bracelet measures approximately 7 ¼”.
