Featured in this lot is this Navajo sterling silver, dry creek turquoise Arizona buckle. The buckle shows fantastic sterling silver construction with a heavy, expertly crafted design and decoration, showing the scenic desert hills of Arizona and an embossed lettering of 'ARIZONA' on the other end. The center stone is a huge Dry Creek turquoise cabochon with wonderful dual matrix of white and grey. The Navajo artist’s signature can be seen on the underside of the buckle 'DE7EN.' The condition of this buckle is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The turquoise cabochon weights 525.5 carats; the collective weight of the buckle is 274.9g.
