Included in this lot is a Navajo Native American, Bernadine Begay Tsosie, White Buffalo and sterling silver necklace. The White Buffalo stone originates from the Tonopah, Nevada area—found in the same general veins as Dry Creek turquoise, except it has no copper content. The White Buffalo gemstones show a beautiful matrix of black host rock and clear white gem quality stone. This stunning necklace features a large White Buffalo gemstone placed in a shadowbox setting with a sterling braided border and hand stamped edges. This pendant is placed on a sterling tubed tri-strand necklace. The back of the pendant is marked "BBT Sterling" by artist Bernadine Begay Tsosie. This necklace is in great condition, showing no signs of wear or cracks. The pendant measures 1 3/4" by 1 1/2". The chain measures 20 1/2" unclasped.
