This lot features an outstanding work of art, authentic Abalone shell inlaid, handmade Damascus knife by Navajo Native American master silversmith, Wilson Dawes. The piece shows a drop point style blade with an amazing, forged Damascus blade showing a fine random ladder pattern. The handle shows wonderful abalone shell grips with silver linings. The piece is from silversmith and artist, Wilson Dawes of the Navajo people. The Abalone shell is inlaid with silver linings in a unique stained glass or mosaic design, a truly wonderful work of art. The knife measures overall 8" long with the blade being 3 3/4" long. One of the best high-grade turquoise knives by a master Navajo silversmith we have offered for sale.
