This lot features an outstanding work of art, authentic, multi-stone inlaid, handmade Damascus knife by Navajo Native American and master silversmith, Wilson Dawes. The piece shows a large drop point bowie, chef’s knife-like blade, with the amazing forged Damascus blade showing a fine random ladder pattern. The handle shows matched Damascus bolster finger wells with sterling silver linings. The handle displays a wonderful, multi stone handle with Chrysocolla, white creek, Kona Dolamite, and picasso marble. The piece is from silversmith and artist, Wilson Dawes of the Navajo people. The stones are inlaid with silver linings in a unique stained glass or mosaic design, a truly wonderful work of art. The knife measures overall 12 1/4" long, with the blade being 7" long.
