Offered in this lot is a Neoclassical Slag Glass Hanging Carriage Lantern, circa 1920s to 1930s. This hanging lantern provides a striking blend of architectural discipline and warm, diffused ambiance. These fixtures combine the structured motifs of classical antiquity—such as Greek key bands, acanthus leaves, and symmetrical columned pentagonal framework—with variegated, marbled slag glass panels that emit a rich glow. They are ideal for historic restorations, formal entries, or bringing old-world character to traditional spaces. The opaque, marbled art glass panels—traditionally sourced in caramel, amber, cream, or pale green—soften direct bulb glare and distribute a cozy, atmospheric light. Lantern is in good overall condition, rich patina observed throughout. Hanging measurement is 9" diameter, 34"H, collective weight is 10lb, 8oz.
