This is an excellent handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver Alicia Gutierrez. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine Churro Wool yarns. Churro wool is a time-tested fiber that is strong and soft and provides a vibrant base for rich colors. The tight handwoven weave shows bright rich colors in the fine Night Stars pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Alicia Gutierrez. This incredible piece details the color shifts and highlights of the waning night sky, showing both an end of a journey and the promise of a new day. The piece is in brand new condition and has a fine weave. The rug measures 2’x3’ (2 foot by 3 foot).
