Included in this lot is a book collection of North American Indian Art: "Turquoise Jewelry of the Indians of the Southwest" by Edna Mae and John F. Bennett, 1974; "Indian & Eskimo Artifacts of North America" by Charles Miles, 1963; "Indian Art In America, The Arts and Crafts of the North American Indian" by Frederick J. Dockstader, 1974; and "North American Indian Art" by Peter T. Furst and Jill L. Furst, 1982. These books were written by renown experts in their respective fields. From an in-depth look at the meaning and use of turquoise in Southwest Native American cultures to a history of Native peoples from the Pacific Northwest, Plains and Eatern Woodlands, these books constitute a vast wealth of knowlege of North American Native creativity and cultures. These books are in good overall condition, three (3) are clothbound hardcovers with gold or silver gilt titling. Slight scuffing noted to hardcovers, age tanning and slight foxing exhibited, hardcover dust jackets have tears, no other obvious marring noted. Largest book measures 10"W x 11"L x 1"D
