For your consideration are these two Northern Pacific Pullman Car, arched-stained glass transoms, circa early 1900's. Northern Pacific was a transcontinental railroad that operated across the northern tier of the western United States, from Minnesota to the Pacific Northwest. The Pullman Car was used to refer to railroad sleeping cars that were built and operated on most U.S. railroads by the Pullman Company (founded by George Pullman) from 1867 to December 31, 1968. The stained glass shows glue chipped textured, green and yellow stained, lead lined glass. The condition of this transom is fair and shows its age with some wear to the wood on the face of the transom, however the integrity of the stained glass is good, with some spider webbing to the right-hand side of the stained glass of the transom. The measurements of this transom are 54" x 10 1/4".
