The lot features a Northern Plains beaded floppy head skull cracker war club. The piece shows a brain-tanned hide over wood handle and shows a floppy head wrapped in brain-tanned hide with stone skull cracker at the center. The head and handle has glass trade seed bead beadwork in a banded design. The beads show colors of Cheyenne pink, chalk white, cobalt, semi-transparent medium green, semi-transparent red. The bottom shows a hide drop with beadwork showing a horsetail hair drop. Measures overall 43"L with head and drop, head is approx. 2.75" by 2.25" by 2".
