Featured in this lot is this Northern Plains Indians hair pipe, and padre bead breastplate circa 1950's. The breastplate is constructed from Indian tanned harness leather and 51 hair pipe genuine bone beads. The leather necklace strand is profusely decorated with two strands of 51 wound glass trade Padre beads in a light blue color. This top portion is circa mid 1900's. The bottom is a contemporary addition of Alpaca silver cross with dangle crescent moons. The condition of this breast collar is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this breast collar are 31" x 9" x 1/4".
