Featured in this lot is this Northern Plains Native American Indian double sided stretched Parfleche rawhide trade drum. The piece features stretched Great American Bison Buffalo rawhide on both sides, with rawhide sinew ties over a carved wood frame. The piece shows good condition. The drum is very well made and has a rich, deep sound. This trade drum is believed to be from the 1950's. The measurements of this drum are 11 1/4" x 11 1/8" x 13 1/8".
