For your consideration is this Northland laminated hickory skis, circa 1929-1934. Northland Ski Manufacturing Company was incorporated in 1912 by Ole S. Ellevold, former foreman of the Strand Ski Company. The skis are constructed of straight laminated hickory without steel edges, along with downhill slalom ridges, seen in front of the bindings and behind. They are titled as a slalom ski on the underside of the toe of the skis. The bindings show stock manufacturing. The condition of this pair of skis is good, with some scratches and marks consistent with wear and usage. The skis need to be re-laminated. The bindings show some oxidation to the heel plates. The measurements of these skis are 77" x 5", with the overall measurements of the bindings from toe to heel being 14".
